Review of ESI U22 XT The interface itself is sturdy and is built like a tank. The audio quality is superb and is fit for home studio use. The mic preamps have a decent amount of gain and a noise floor that is a bit high for my taste. the headphone output can also easily power a 32 ohm headphone. the driver and the features included are amazing as well, the DIRECTwire in particular. I just wish that it had the same driver and software for linux instead of begin limited to just Mac and PC.
