This is the best solution for upright bass amplification. It sounds great at low volume levels in sound reinforcement role, and when you have to turn up loud, there are ne feedback issues and all tone-shaping options are available. It doesn't just sound like a bass guitar, but the percussive, acoustic note shape is preserved with no ridichlous piezo thunkiness, honkiness, or feedback. It also sounds great in the upper register without requiring modified technique. It's a brilliant product.
