Review of Jomox Alpha Base Incredible drum machine with phenomenal sound on analog instruments and hybrid samples. Workflow very pleasant to use and inspiring, even if the sequencer is simple compared to others which are more sophisticated. However the Alpha Base can also go in this field there, because all its parameters benefit from cc midi controls as well as separate midi channels: an external sequencer like Cirklon (or even a computer) can control everything and take things further. This drum machine is a very versatile, ultra punchy and warm sound design tool.
