Taken from the artist’s 2020 album ‘What’s Your Pleasure’ - ‘Remember Where You Are’ sounds like an old sunshine soul classic. Opening with a soaring string arrangement and powerful vocals - this song will re-invigorate your joy for life the way all the classics do, no matter what mood you are in. 


2. L'Impératrice - Peur des filles (Montmartre Remix)

Sickly smooth. A remix of the Parisian group’s slick disco track by electronic duo Montmartre. Rich house synths fused with effortless, glistening vocals make a flawless combination - all the while maintaining and enhancing the groove of the original.


3. Bobbi Arlo - FEEL IT 

This artist has an ear for addictive pop/RnB songwriting - the most recent release being a warm, feel good burst of dreaminess. This will get you in the mood for summer - and in the mood for life.


4. Sophie Ellis Bextor - Crying at the Discotheque

5. Kerri Watt - Band of Gold

Taken from the multi-talented artist’s new album ‘Neptune’s Daughter’, and mentioned in our most recent Songs We Liked article - Band of Gold is your favorite pop song from your late childhood/early teenage years that you haven't heard yet. 


6. Busty and the Bass, Macy Gray - Out of Love

The most recent release from the Montreal band, featuring the unrivaled powerhouse that is Macy Gray - this slick funkaliciousness is nothing short of a joy. Dreamy, hazey funky production with Anderson.Paak vibes.


7. Emotional Oranges (feat Biig Piig) - Body & Soul

LA duo Emotional Oranges recently teamed up with artist Biig Piig - Body & Soul features warm rhodes chords, a funky bassline and seductive whispered vocals - perfect to escape to.


8. Jacob Collier, Kiana Ledé - In Too Deep

Paradise. Lusciously layered vocals on an ethereal dreamscape and smooth 808s - listen to this and inhale nature and sunshine.


9. Soccer Mommy - Drive

A dreamy, nostalgic cover of The Car’s song Drive. Slight shoegaze feel with a wall of melancholy guitars and synths with her signature 90s pop feel.


10. Hazel English - Combat 

Sounds like a memory in the making - chilled, laid back Americana feel with vocals that have a slight Lana del Rey-esque feel. Listen to this in the sunshine with a drink.


11. Morgan Willis - First Time 

Taken from the soundtrack for the game Wave Break: Neon Rides -  beautiful, slightly melancholy synthwave with a modern twist - the production and composing on this give an overpowering feel of being plucked from a sun soaked memory.

Taken from the astrophysicist/producer’s Ep ‘Kinematics’ - this features slick, abstract percussion with an industrial bass and expert chopped vocal production that simultaneously relaxes and energises you.


13. Lava La Rue - Magpie 

Magical Hip-Hop/RnB beat and production - sounds like a daydream. Taken from Lava’s Ep Butter - Fly.


14. Ol’ Burger Beats, Vuyo - Dusty Grooves 

Cozy, vinyl happiness - sounds like coffee in a sunshine filled room. Taken from the Norweigen producer’s new album with rapper Vuyo. 


15. Japanese Breakfast - Be Sweet 

The most recent release from musician Michelle Zauner - 80s style synths and guitars, opening with pounding bass and drums. This is for when the mask comes off and you are dancing alone in your room, completely free. 


16. Charlotte Devaney, SHOSH - Girls 

A collaboration between producer/DJs Charlotte Devaney and SHOSH.  Opening with a four to the floor pounding kick and teasing an house bass - it dissolves into a full dark club affair. Slick and eerie, and never lets up. Fantastic production. 


17. Donny Benet - Moving Up 

There is no-one smoother than the australian artist Donny Benet, and this new single is proof of this. Slick, seductive post disco.


18. Ali Love, Nicky Night Time, Breakbot, Happiness is Wealth - Ubiquity (Happiness is Wealth remix)

Rising disco synths, funky rhodes, slick vocals, bassline reminiscent of Music Sounds Better with You - this will lift your spirits.


19. Momocurly - Sight Spring

Gloriously chilled out track about the first hints of Spring - perfect for relaxed walks alone and looking out the window.


20.  Actualacid - Heaven’s Gate Nikes

Part of the Cork collective Hausu - this is a glorious hip-hop beat with mournful vocals (a bit like Frank Ocean)
